quit my job on monday

some of you may remember a few of my rants from a while back about how my boss is an a-hole... he didnt invite me to last year's holiday party, he's been verbally abusive and he's basically a complete moron who blamed me for crap that i had nothing to do with


anyway, i quit on monday and i'm not looking back.. they've already asked me to come back and train someone how to do my job, and also fix a few problems they've been having with the computers tuesday and today... looks like they didnt realize my value til i was gone :p

the good thing is i was guaranteed an excellent reference from one of the partners if i needed it... the bad thing is i need to find a new job within the next couple months hehe

overall, i feel like a great burden of bullshit has been lifted off of my shoulders


UPDATE: Got offered a job today w00t!! better pay and only 3 miles from my house (previous job was about 30 miles away) :) this begins a nice, fresh start to my working life :D

So you quit without having a backup job? Im guessing you had a bit saved up?

Congrats for getting out of there, but I probably wouldn't have done it until I got a new job.

Nice :) Im' in the same boat...my final day of work at my current employer is this coming monday....I'm so glad to leave that place and I'll be working at a much nicer company in a few weeks.

wtf???? i've been looking for years and nothing comes up. this guy quits on monday and has a job offer on friday...
