Bored at work so I am posting another movie thread. I saw this last night too and I forgot how much I loved it. Beautiful scenery, camera work and acting.

Since dug777 and Stump are from down under I am particulary intersted in knowing if you two have seen it and what you think.

Years ago I think I watched most of it. I don't remember being all that impressed by it though.

Best urban aussie stuff is Crackerjack and Bad Eggs tho ;) I thought Crackerjack was particularly brilliant :)

This particular movie takes place back in the 1800s and shows the magnificent Australian countryside. You should watch it sometime. :)

Yes, unfortunately it mirrored our own attitude at the time towards Native Americans. From what I understand Aboriginees are still very discriminated against there.

Yup. I thought it was very clever and brilliantly done, but boring as batsh1t :(
