Quietness of the TT Tsunami vs. Sonata?

My roomate has a Sonata, and i was impressed by how quiet it was. Currently Im running an Antec Lanboy, and it is pretty loud at night. So I was looking into either, the TT tsunami or the TT Soprano. Now, I hear the Soprano is made out of steel vs. the aluminum on the Tsunami, which one will keep the noise level to a minimum? I am just hoping that either of these cases will be as quiet as the Sonata.

you can make your lanboy quieter than a sonata if you replace the stock fans. first find out what is producing the most noise.

A case alone does not a quiet computer make.

Listen to itr's advice and find out where the noise is coming from in your current machine. Then replace the components as necessary, but here are the usual suspects: PSU, case fans, CPU HSF, GPU HSF, NB HSF. Check out Silent PC Review on recommended quiet components.

Well in general, I just want a whole other case. I was planning to add another harddrive and the lanboy can only accomadate two, so either way, I was going to get a new case. I was just hoping if someone has demo'd the TT Tsunami or Soprano and compared the noise level to that of the sonata. Thanks for all those that reply, your input is highly valued.

Tsunami is great, if u replace the stock fans u'll be fine (if u dont have super noisey components in ur comp of course)

The Sonata and SLK3000B are neato cases but I like the SLK3000B easy to use lotsa space good price good case

If you get the Tsunami get the one w/o the window. The 3 fan version is much louder and barely cooler.

My project "Night Wind" with the intake mods has resulted in a very cool running and very quiet case. I cannot believe the difference.
