Quietest HS-Fan for T-Bred 2600+ ?

Hello all,

Well my new system is humming along with my Antec TruPower330 (thanks for the suggestions on that) and my Zalman Copper Flower-like HS. The problem is, the fan for this thing on its unrestricted setting is just to darn loud. Should I go with a 90mm fan or a whole new HS-Fan combo ? I an not overclocking, I just want something that will be quiet. Right now my CPU hits 56deg under full load so I probably shouldn't go with anything hotter than that.

Cooler Master makes some silent hsf combos, I've used them on CPUs up to XP 2200+. I think they have some models that are for faster CPUs.

I've also heard Zalman 6000 is a good product.

Maybe the problem is that your heatsink isn't seated properly. Do you use Arctic Silver, or other good thermal paste on it? Is the clip set tight, or is it a cheap piece of metal that can bend easily?

You could get an SLK-800 or -900 and a Panaflo L1A.
