quietest dell laptop under 100% cpu load?

hi all, i'm planning on getting a pentium-m laptop. i've debating between 700, 6000, and 9300. assuming i got the same cpu in each one, does anyone know how the noise level compares between these laptops? would there be a noticable difference between them? they will be under 100% cpu load for hours to days

could anyone who's had experience with any 2 of them comment on how their noise compares under load?

or if you have just 1 of them, can you quantify it's fan usage under load? (i.e. it spins up for 5 minutes every 30 minutes)

At 100% it will probally spin all the time, but if it's going to be under such a heavy load why buy a laptop? Centrino's get fairly got running 100%, I don't know the differences on the laptops, and it probally doesn't list, but you should figure out they are using a copper of Aluminum heat sync. heat pipe etc.

i think he will be using DC or similar apps to keep it at 100% load. You basically need to hear from people with the laptops. I can tell you that Dell had very good thermal design. My Inspiron 5150 (Mobile Pentium 4) stays at high fan, but is relatively quiet for the cooling it provides.

Well, I have a 1.5 Dothan in an Inspiron 8600. I've done some testing off and on with Seti on it for a few hours here or there.

The temps bounce back and forth between 62C and 72C as the fan kicks on and off it's low speed.(cycles on for about 20sec every 2min every once in the while turning on high) It eventually evens out with the fan always running after about 1 hour and the temp about 70C consuming about 25W of total power for the system during full output.

The sound isn't too bad. The CD on this thing is actually louder. Sorry I can't be more explicit than that. Basically,I don't hear it unless the room is quiet.

Hope this helps out some.

edit: woops, had the temperature wrong. Just double checked and it sits about 58C with the fan running constantly.
