Got my computer running very quiet with big slow 120mm and 92mm cooling fans. Now the Hard Drive is by far the loudest part of the system.

Any way to quiet down a hard drive? I've got a WD 7200RPM 120GB drive, so it's too new to just toss it for a quieter drive.

Dude, I have two Seagate Barracuda IV drives (20 and 40GB), and they are super-quiet. Way more quiet than my Maxtor and WD drives in my other computers.

Turn your computer off :p You must be doing something for it to be spinning, so turn off all your unuseful programs that are running in the background. I also have the Seagate Barracuda IV and it's super quiet. My fans are the loudest :D
