I got a new case a couple of weeks ago that came with a power supply (Channel Well Tech 420watt). The thing is loud as hell. Anyone have any suggestions for a very quiet PSU?

The Antec Truepower series has gotten very good reviews for being quiet. I'm waiting for a 480 watt to come in from Newegg myself.

I suggest you look here. I have both the Zalman 300A-APF and the Antec TruPower, and the Zalman is much quieter, although the Antect is not bad.

The truepower line is much quieter than any normal PSU. It isnt silent, but one of the quietest I have ever heard. It is probably the best choice if you need a lot of power. After a little work though, the Truepower 430 is about the loudest thing in my system. I guess it is a little idiotic, but I almost wish I would have gotten something quieter. I can still hear the computer.

ExoticPC SilenX, Nexus, Seasonic SS series, and the Zalman are all quieter out-of-the-box than any of the Antec's.

If you want fanless then go with RSG electronics, TKPower, and ProSilence. But prepared high temps at higher loads (>100-200W), tight fits and non-standard sizes.
