Quiet P4 800Mhz PC

I'm looking to build a QUIET P4 800MHz machine (2.4c or 2.6c) and am wondering how noisy the retail heatsink fans are? Would I be better off replacing it with a quieter solution? I'm still looking to air-cool it -- I know that a water-cooled system would be very quiet. Your comments and recommendations are welcome.

On that same note - anyone have the Abit IC7? How noisy is the northbridge HSF?

Another post says that the abit northbridge fans are quiet. I would suggest an aluminum case and zalman "fan mate 1" rpm adjuster for about $7-8. My backup rig is an xp2000, and the default cpu fan speed was 5000 rpm. I lowered it to 3000, which is much easier on the ears. You can run your Intel heatsink fan at 2000-2300 rpm and it will still cool adequately. My p4 runs at 44-60 celcius, depending on the application and room temp.

Recommendations:

Zalman CNPS6500A-Cu HSF, fan in "silent mode".
Zalman passive video card cooler (forget the model #, but it's a set of bigass copper clamps)
Seagate Baracuda ATA V series drive. Specs have them at 20dB idle, 24dB seek.
Thermaltake Noise Killer PSU.

Just get a MCX4000 or a 8942 and a panaflo l1a
