I just built an HTPC with i5-2500K processor. The stock fan is loud as hell. I was searching on newegg for a cooler but just realized that the case is very low profile and these coolers will not fit.

Any suggestions? I own this case

Yea the stock HSF of the Intel® Core™ i5-2500k can be a little loud. You check out the Corsair water cooler like the H70 while expensive I have heard that their closed loop cooling is low profile and fairly quiet.

Ah, I see. I am going to have to take a ruler and measure the distance to the top of the case and match with the dimensions of that fan. The stock CPU fan barely fits. Water cooler solution is great but its too messy! then I gotta have a rad, pipe holes, etc etc...
