Quiet HTPC Case using Zalman CNPS7000 Cu

I want my case to be as silent as possible. I have a very quiet PSU with a 120mm fan, and just got this Zalman. I am using a Silverstone case that has two 60mm fans mounted in the rear and additionally have an 80mm NMB silent intake fan.

I have the fanmate currently connected to the Zalman (haven't turned system on yet, no time), but I am thinking of using a splitter and connecting it to the two 60mm fans, as they are a little louder than I would like. The Zalman would run at full speed in this case, which is about 27dBa, correct?

Or should I disconnect those two fans and use the fanmate on the Zalman, as there is a 120mm fan sitting right next to the CPU for the PSU?

BTW, I will be using a Sempron 3000+ overclocked to 2.67 GHz with CnQ enabled at 1.58v when at load (and I don't expect it to be at load too much).

Opinions? Suggestions?

Thanks.

Avoid small 60mm fans. They are noisy and don't move much air. Use one 120mm rear exhaust. 120 x 38 mm medium speed Panaflow would be best. Use the Zalman Fanmate 2 to set the fan's rpm to your liking. As for the Zalman CPU, many MBs have smart fan option that will ramp up the speed of the fan with higher CPU temp. If so equipped, then connect the Zalman directly to this terminal. If not, then use the Zalman Fanmate to set the maximum rpm to your liking.

Yep, unfortunately they wouldn't fit. I am currently installing Windows on the drive without the two 60mm fans connected and the Zalman a little below 2000rpm. I'm going to get windows installed, OC it to where it needs to be, and run some tests to see if that will be adequate cooling.

Oh, and thanks for reminding me about the smart fan option on the motherboard. This motherboard does have it. Maybe I just will try it out and split the fanmate and run it out to these two babies.

Thanks for the inspiration :).
