Quiet Fans for TBird 1400?

I have an Athlon Tbird 1400Mhz and the fan is very loud when I turn the computer on. Can anyone recommend a quiet fans that will work with that processor?

I use a Thermalright SK6 with a 80mm Thermaltake 30db fan. It's quiet enough for me, of course, you can stick whatever fan you want on it. I would go with an 80mm.

Yeah.. the for sale/trade forum 🙂

No, I don't actualy. I live in Toronto and I got my thermaltake fan (it actually is pretty quiet too) from Canada Computers for ten bucks CND.
I never understood how people could pay so much for fans. Ten bucks CND is even too much for a fan. You can get 12V 80mm DC fans from Active Surplus on Queen st. for 5 bucks CND a piece (although, they aren't as quiet) .. so a quiet fan should cost you ten bucks MAX. It's just ridiculous. The thermaltake is pretty good though.
Oh yeah. and those five dolla fans from Active are pretty quiet when run at 7 volts.

Dr. Zone;

You can get panaflo's here from a great trader.
If you want em, he's got em and he'll ship em to Canada for either very little or no extra charge.

You should enable your PM's in your profile.
