Title says it all. I'm going to switch to S939 probably pretty soon and I was wondering what people recommended for a silent yet effective cooler. I'd imagine something with a 120MM fan would be ideal, do those commonly come on HSF's these days? I've been out of the cooling scene for a while. I had a Vantec Aeroflow on my old AXP that was quiet & effective, but they don't have any A64 coolers yet.
I will not be OCing immediately, but will in the future so if this could pull double duty as an OC cooler too, that would be awesome.
Thanks in advance

Actually, many people are getting pretty good overclocks using the stock AMD cooler. The stock cooler that comes with the Athlon 64's seem to be pretty good. You might try it first before dropping a bundle on a 3rd party cooler.

Stock coolers cool fine, but if you want something designed with quietness in mind, the zalman 7000 series are a very good choice. They are nearly silent, but they cool as well if not better than the stock cooler. I would recomend the alcu version over the cu version because its cheaper, lighter and cools only slightly worse.

I'm not sure how loud the stock cooler is, but it can't hurt to try that first.

If you need something quieter/more effective, look at a Zalman 7000 series AlCu (92mm fan). That's probably the best value for your money. You can also look into a 7700, or a Thermalright XP-90 or XP-120 (the best heatsink anywhere). The 7700 and XP-120 may have difficulty fitting on some motherboards due to their size, though (both use 120mm fans), so you'll need to check. Additionally, you need to buy your own separate fan with either of the Thermalrights (92mm for the XP-90, 120mm for the XP-120).
