Quiet, cool, and overclocked - possible??

My 2.4G P4 system is fairly quiet while being overclocked by about 15%. I've accomplished this by using the large and/or quiet fans and running them slow. (exception being the CPU fan).

My CPU temp averages 30-35 degrees C but can get to 50 if I'm pushing it hard such as downloading a PDF or running a burn in utility like Sandra.

I'm curious what the next steps are to get to ultra quiet.

How would you rate these:
1. Premium ultra quiet case
2. Hard drive silencers
3. Acoustic case insulation.
4. Boutique cooling fans
5. Other

I've heard Dell Dimension cases are ultra quiet. Is it worth buying an empty Dimension case on Ebay?

There's no shortage of components that claim noise reduction. Which ones represent the best ROI?

Yea, it is gonna cost ya, but maybe a few dollars can be saved by buying from the FS forum right here on AT.

I just sealed the deal on a nice pump and a heater core. both new for $65 shipped. picked up a swifty block and a black ice extreme heater core for $90 a few months ago. I'd figuer if I build a resevior myself plus all the tubing and fittings, it should keep the cost under $200.

by the way, I don't have any need for H2O. I got it so I can build myself a new water cooling case.

pabst fans. lots, and as large size as possible. possibly even connected to fan speed controller to lower speed.

silent drive
seagate barracudas.
fanless psu's which are rather nice, but costly.

there are even wooden enclosed sound dampened and ventilated cabinets to store the pc for total silence.
