Quiet 90-92mm Fan

Well, upgrading time for me is coming up-sometime this winter. I'm going to be buying a Thermalright SP-97 all copper heatsink, supposed to be the best for OC'ing besides water. What I would like is a quiet 90-something mm fan to hookup to this bad boy. For my considerations I'm using this ratio

So far, I've got like 2 choices

So, as you can see, one is mucho expenisive and moves alot of air while the other is pretty cheap and moves a pretty good amount of air. I wanted to hear suggestions from you guys. Price range for the fan is anywhere between 8-18$
Suggestions?

I have the vantec. It works pretty good. It obviously doesn't run very fast, about 1500 rpm. So if you want better cooling I would go with an adjustable fan. I guess that is the reason it is so quiet, because it doesn't go very fast. Vantec tornados seem to be pretty popular for putting on heatsinks. If you buy one of thos I would also purchase a fan controller. Altoghther, a tornado with controller, it probably wouldn't cost all that much, and you could make a compromise between loud and better cooling, to quiet and less cooling.

One word PanaFlo!!!!

The first one isn't going to fit with the Thermalright heatsink, and the second isn't going to move enough air for OCing, though it would be perfect on a stock speed rig for near silent operation.

You will have to look outside newegg for Panaflos because I beleive they stopped stocking any of them except for 1 of the 80mm fans.

I know the make this two models. They do make a bunch of different fans with different air flows and sound levels (you'll have to search for them). The one that I have is of the 48CFM / 30db level varity. It works great.

I use 80mm versions of these:

5 of them in my rig (see siggeh). 4 for case fans, one on the CPU. There are lots of complaints about the adjuster screw being too fragile, and they do seem pretty weak, but I honestly had no problems adjusting them without breaking them. Believe me, I would tell you if they were so bad that they're not worth buying.

I don't adjust them very much. When I first got 'em I tweaked them 'till my temps and noise levels were good, and I haven't adjusted them since. You shouldn't need to adjust them so much that you risk breaking them, really

I'm also looking for the same thing -- quiet 90/92 mm fan that can move some serious air. I found this one, and am thinking about getting it, but want to do more looking first. Anyone have any experience with it, or know about it?

Sounds plausible. Couldn't I also use the fan contoller that I got with my Thermaltake Volcano 12 (my current HSF)? See, once I get like 40$, I'mma sell the Thermaltake for $25 to someone, back panel fan thingy included. Also, when I get christmas money, I'mma prolly try and sell this vid card for like $100-120 and upgrade that too. My goal for my Mobile after I upgrade the Heatsink and fan is to OC it to 2.6-2.8Ghz

Witha quiet fan you will not be able to got to 2.8 (most chips won't even do this with watercooling) and very likely not even 2.6GHz. YOu should be able to hit 2.4-2.5 though with a good, quiet hsf combination.
