quiet 60mm fan

I have a couple of 18.2GB SCSI drives that need a little drowning out. I haven't found the suitable fan for that yet.

Today when you say 60mm fan, you are not saying quiet. AMD still sticks 60mm fans on XP processors and they are relatively quiet. What is your baseline for comparison?

Airflow volume requirments?

well the xp retail heatsink fans are exactly high rpm, and the most recent ones are 70mm i believe.

60mm and high airflow= monster noise. no way around it. big fans at low rpm is the only way to quiet down

Well I found two low noise panaflo 60mm (the case has two back mounts). How loud is 28 db. And what kind of connector should be on the end if I want to connect it to the MB.

"Whatever" whiny, noisy, obnoxious factory 60mm fan + 3pin to 4 pin adaptor + 7 volt mod. Thats what I do on older POS systems that I don't want to spend $5 on for a heatsink that will take a 80mm fan.
