Quicktime Movies Won't Stream

I have Quicktime on my PC so that shouldn't be an issue. The thing is, Quicktime movies will stream if a dedicated link is supplied for the file itself (ie. Movie.mov). The only ones that won't stream are the ones embedded on a webpage. If there is anything other than the video on the screen, the video won't play. These videos play just fine at my brothers house (when he used to have the Internet) and they work fine at the college... just not my PC.

Also, I looked at the Page Source and the script for the movie to run was a bunch of numbers in black text. No image or reference tags were given to them.

Now, I need these movies to play for my Psychology homework and driving an hour to get to the college is a waste of gas ($3.49 / gallon here) when I should be able to get these videos to play at my house.

Any information is greatly appreciated.

EDIT: Just tried to load some game trailers and even they don't load. This is getting frustrating.

Have you tried this in both IE and Firefox? What about Safari for Windows (I know it is buggy, but if you only use it for Quicktime streaming...)?

Have you tried installing VLC and the associated plugin that it has for internet playback?
