Quicktime movies not showing on TV-Out

When I play quicktime movies, they show fine on my PC monitor, but on the TV out, there is just a black space in the window where the movie is supposed to be playing. I can see and use all the Quicktime controls (play, stop etc), but no image. Is there anything special I need to do in order to get the display to show on TV out.

I have an ATI 9500 Pro (in clone mode for TV out) and an Asus A7N8X Pro.

In the Overlay tab -> Clone mode options... select either Theater Mode (for full-screen playback on TV) or Same on all.

Thanks,
That seems to do the trick - sort of. I can now see the movies on the TV in windowed mode. But if I try the full screen display, I just get a frozen frame on the TV. I tried all different combinations and aspect ratios but still can't get it to work with full screen on the TV. I'm using the Cat 3.4 drivers (don't know if that would make a difference or not). Any thoughts?

It could be an issue with the player you are using -which is it? I have a 9500 with Cat 3.4 and use Theater Mode, Same as source video, and 4:3 (Standard TV). I primarily use Windows 2000, and always Media Player Classic which is an advanced clone of Windows Media Player 6.4. So the source can normally be played back on the primary monitor in a window or minimized and full-screen on the TV which is set to a clone of the primary monitor. I don't think QuickTime behaves this way but it will playback on TV the same as on the monitor (windowed or full-screen on both). Sometimes filters/codecs just have their own way of behaving with overlays and may have their own settings such as fddshow and DivX 5.
