other than collections from sales, issuance of bonds, and offering new stock, what are some types of cash inflows that a business can have?

does "sales" include all types of income from regular business activity? (like consulting, etc.)
What about:
sales of assets
company borrows money (not issuing bonds, an unsecured loan)
company rents equipment to others when not in use
licensing income
refund of overpayment of taxes
unused balance of redeemed gift certificates (when difference not refunded)
settlement from successful lawsuit
