quickie print question

I have a BMP image that is 8x10" (at 2550x3267 resolution).

How do I get this to print on one page off a printer ?

Scale the picture down, most printing preferences allows it.
The problems:

1) Scale down how, to fit size of paper? The length/width in inches is already 8.5x10.
2) If scaled down by resolution, the text on the paper becomes unreadable.

-Using Photoshop.

Just define the print size.
If you have photoshop and it's size is listed as 8x10 you're fine.
Sorry neglected to mention this is for someone else. It will do no good for me to print it (then send/fax - don't have a fax). And the person who needs it doesn't have Photoshop.

All I need is to provide a soft copy of this that will, by default, print to 1 page. Currently it's printing to many many pages because of the resolution.
