quickie Photoshop question

In Photoshop 7, I can use the keyboard for shortcuts like copy, paste, select all, and even the cursor keys to nudge something to move it. Now in Photoshop CS, none of those work and I have to use the mouse/menu items to do everything.

Is there an option to turn this back on ?
 
I'm going to post even though I'm only speculating.

The key combinations for cut, copy, paste, etc are windows hot keys. If they have been disabled in a program or don't work in a specific program, that means it just hasn't been coded to use them. Therefore the work area may be restricted to use of the mouse or an edit menu. I highly doubt you'll be able to get it turned back on... 🙁
 
The thing is, within the program, you can see the shortcut keys for them right beside the menu item (Copy ... Ctrl-C). Yet, it still does not work - none of them. 🙁

I highly doubt they're disabled in the new version of photoshop. I haven't used it yet, but there's no way adobe would go and remove things like copy and paste. There's probably some conflicting program or setting that is wrong.
 
I heard that warez copy's shortcuts don't work. I'm not blaming you or anything... just thinking if this is the case.

i beleive this is true because ive heard it a few times now on a couple of boards, so either find yourself a better pirated copy or

PAY FOR YOUR FUSKING SOFTWARE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
