Quickie - How do you make windows startup disk?

If you are in woindows or goto dos what do you do to make a windows startup disk that can enable CD support? THANKS!

There are a few options:

#1
1) "format a: /s" or "sys a:" .
2) Copy mscdex to the floppy.
3) Install the DOS drivers for your CDROM on the floppy.
4) You may also want to copy fdisk.exe, format.com, sys.com, and edit.com to the floppy so that you have some useful utilities.

1) Goto www.bootdisk.de.
2) Download the bootdisk you need.
3) Install the image on a blank floppy.

1) Check The BootDisk Project, they have a tone of boot disks (Bunch of different DOSs, Windows, NT, Linux, Novell, etc...) and good info.

Another option is to go to a PC running 98 or ME
navigate to the control paneladd/remove programs/startup disk
