quickie, does mcaffe online virus scan service scan emails?

wife's PC at her office ( I cant touch it) uses mcafee's online virus service, but she keeps getting the klez virus in her inbox.
does mcafee scan email and stop viruses before it gets to inbox? (maybe it does but it's not setup right?)
