Quicken 2002 Deluxe for $13.94 w/ shipping (after rebate)

I noticed that Fry's/Outpost has Quicken 2002 Deluxe for $9.99 (after $30 rebate), & $39.99 before rebate. Shipping is $3.95.

If this is a manufacture's rebate, then there is opportunity to decrease the price even further. I looked for a $30 Intuit rebate but could not find one.

Hi,

Outpost linky
Quicken 2002 Deluxe for Windows
Intuit: For your PC
Outpost #: 3075099
Add any TurboTax product to your cart and get an additional $30.00 mail in rebate. See the bottom of this page for more details. LIMIT ONE PER HOUSEHOLD.

I think you have to buy TurboTax to qualify for the $30 rebate, so the final price will be > $13.94.

Ack. You faked me out. The Buy quicken + tax software dealie has been posted several times already. I was looking for quicken alone since i already got the tax software that came w/Money 2002.

I've been using quicken for years and tried out money and hate it. It overcomplicates things for me since i dont use most of those functions. Plus i am so pissed that you need to have an MS passport just to view your bankbooks?!!!?!?!?! What the heck is up with that? But now i'm stuck since my quicken is the 2000 version and i cant convert the files back so i need a good deal on Quicken 2002.

(These new MS products with the "you must register with your passport" crap is really getting on my nerves.)

emonkey,

I found this on amazon -- net price of $19.95. Not a smoking deal, but pretty good and requires that you download the software. Requires two rebates: a $20 amazon rebate for downloading and a $20 Intuit rebate for "upgrading" (see the rebate form to make sure you have the right things to mail in the rebate). Rebates are a pain, but this is an okay deal:
