I know there is a thread about it already but I have a quick question about my AGOIA. I bought one of these 1600+ chips from newegg and have been testing it out. I unlocked it and have been trying to push it. I have a Soyo Dragon+ board with a top multi of 12.5. My chip works great at 1.6 ghz (even lower voltage) but if I bump it up to 1.66 I have to add .05v. If I set the multi to 12.5 and fsb to 139 (1.73ghz) it won't go no matter what I do. Do you think I just got a crappy AGOIA or is it my board holding me back? Any help would be appreciated! IE experience, gross speculation.... :)
I know the ram will do 139 with advanced settings... The psu is an enermax 350 watt so I doubt that's it...
Thanks for your help!

not all AGOIAs are created equal. What is the week/stepping? 0213 Y? Funny thing is, not all 0213 Y AGOIAs are created equal.

I had an AGOIA 0204 K that wouldn't even think about 152FSB. I wondered if my ram, board, or something else was holding it back. Popped in a AGOIA 0222 4 and it went straight to 166FSB. Haven't even bothered to unlock. My board has a 1/5, so at 166fsb I don't need to push my agp/pci any harder than default and get a 350mhz overclock with a tiny .05 bump in voltage.

What kind of ram? And what are your temps looking like?

I can't remember the week and stepping but i think it's something like.... 0224 or 22?
I have a 256mb stick of crucial 2100 ddr and a stick of generic 256mb micron 2100 ddr
My temps currently are all over the place (b/c of the dorm climate) but my max temps are around 45C.
I know this ram will do 140ish at lower mulipliers so I can't imagine that it's the problem.
12.5 is the max that my dumb soyo can do so I can't test anymore.
I would like to think it's the board holding me back but I just don't know.
Considering that upping the voltage gets me a "little" further into windows, I guess it's my chip :(
I can't say that I've seen many other AGOIA's that won't go 1.7 but I guess that's my luck.
Thanks again for your help...
