The only thing it really can't play right now is h.264 encoded stuff, simply because the Xbox CPU isn't powerful enough. It'll play them, but it's extremely choppy. I haven't had a problem with any other type of video file though

Naw I got a hard soldered Matrix. I really don't see why all these different types of chips are being released they all do the same thing other than Live features.

BTW is it safe to say what the name of the codec pack is on here? If not then np I will figure it out the hard way.

Just get a precompiled t3ch release from your favorite Bittorrent site and you won't have to worry about it.
