Quick XBOX HD question.

this may not belong here but i need a quick answer 🙂

my hdd on my xbox is going its a 120gb... i just bought a 160 gigger and was wondering if it was possible just to image that 120 gig and copy that to the 160 and everything will be golden?

ftp everything from your 120gb drive to your PC, install the 160gb, ftp everything back to your 160gb in the same directories and you are done.

although you (obviously) won't be able to overwrite certain files (like the dash since it will be currently running) but other than that it should work.

xbox needs a specific formatting so i don't believe you can do what you are trying to do.

If you use Ghost or something and literally clone it, I don't see why it wouldn't work.

You'll have to FTP and move your stuff over. FATX is a weird filesystem in many ways.
