Is there any way to undo things I have done, undo closed tabs etc?
After pouring coffee on my Apple keyboard I am stuck with my Windows laptop which I hardly use so I do not know it very well. BTW I also miss my automatic spell checker on my iMac, you know when you mis-spell something it automatically gets hilighted. (like right now I am pretty sure I miss spelled 'mis-spell' and 'hilighted' but Windows does not let me know this so I am stuck with Google's excellent spelling which I don't have time to use right now.)

Times like these remind me that Apple rules in the PC department!

None of those are Apple-specific things, if you'd drop the fanboi-ism for a little bit you'll probably get more use out of the Windows PC and realize just how far behind Apple really is in many areas.

Try Chrome, it lets you reopen closed tabs and even full windows of tabs. It also does spellchecking for me on Linux, but I'm not sure if that's because of the Linux widgets it uses or if it's part of Chrome.

If you really want to use IE, look for Speckie in the Add-on Gallery for in-line spellchecking. And there already is the option to re-open closed tabs if you right-click on a tab, not sure how functional it is though.

I don't use Internet Explorer for much on my desktop PC; just a few cases (like Pandora) where I've pinned sites to the taskbar (a very handy feature of Windows 7). For everything else, I use Firefox, which does all of the things you mention, as well as keeping bookmarks and history in sync between the desktop machine and my MacBook. Works very well.

On Firefox, you'll find various "Restore" menu items under the History menu. The one I use very frequently is the Restore Last Closed Tab, which I do with its keyboard shortcut: Ctrl-Shift-T. It's a lifesaver!
