I've been a Newegg-only shopper for quite a while. I'm about to order an Abit NF7-S 2.0. This thread is keeping me from buying it there this time though.

I think I'm going to go with exCaliber.com. 9.68 rating on resellerratings.com, gauranteed rev 2.0, and pre-flashed to the latest BIOS. Googlegear's return rating seems too low. Where should I order it? exCaliber, another store, or stick with Newegg?

I was going to go with them until I read the very first review on resellerratings. The guy had a bad experience with an Abit motherboard from there, which is what I'm gonna get. Plus, eXcaliber flashes their NF7-S's, meaning there's less of a chance of the board being DOA because they test the boards.

I've had my NF7-S for several weeks now. I bought it from exCaliber as planned, and it's been running GREAT! I haven't had a single problem with it. They did great -- on par with Newegg. It appeared brand new. I couldn't even tell they tested it, except that the anti-static bag was not sealed. I highly recommend exCaliber! :)

That's the same northbridge fan. Lemme quote their site: "Category-5: $2 off backup northbridge chipset fan:". Identical. You shouldn't need it.

woah..i never noticed the word backup when i was putting things in my cart...when u add it to the cart, it says nothing about backup when you are about to check out...thanks for pointing it out...any advice on the BIOS survival kit? it's 6.99 for it after the combo discount
