What's the square end called?

I don't want to pay Dell $25 for an effing cable. So please save me some money and tell me what kind of connector this is, and maybe link to it on Newegg or somewhere. Please?

The flat end of a USB cable is called the A and the more square end is called the B connector. Virtually any peripheral device with a B connector can connect to your PC with a usb cable - not just a printer.

Oh, & to the OP...if you are buying a Dell aka Lexmark inkjet printer...don't.

If it's a laser...well then okay.

Lexmark [Dell] inkjets = teh sh!ttiest you can buy.
