ok, its not posting on bootup. i need to know waht the speaker code means from the pc speaker.

beep beep beep means that the Road Runner just went by you very fast, did you see a puff of white smoke too ?

I'd start off by un-plugging everything and re-seat cpu, memory and video card, power plug and boot to bios and set it to defaults and report back.

either the light just turned green and the guy behind you is in a hurry or something in your computer isn't seated correctly. Ram / video etc...

Typically, if its a beep then followed by 2 quick beeps, it can't find your video card. What kind of mobo / vid card are you running?

What kind of processor. I have seen this before on a friends slot processor, where the CPU wasn't seated all the way down.

Here are some of the beep codes that I know for 100% sure 😉

beeeeep, beep beep beep ( 1 long 3 short ) can not find video card
Beep. Beep. Beep.... ( recurring beep untill you turn off and reboot system ) can not find memory or the CPU.

Beep. ( single beep ) System checks out.

I have a list of the other beep codes somewhere, as there are about 20 of them. But these 3 are the most common.

Hope it helps ya out.
