Heat gun but be carful it gets really hot. Now thinking over, a nice sunny day and a hair dryer will work too. Afterwards get goo gone and remove the extra residue left over. Also if that pin striping has been on there for awhile and the car has some age to it keep in mind the paint under it is going to be like new so after it comes off you still may have pin stipes :)

The rubber wheel by 3m does work well. 3m also makes some special pinstripe remove in a spray can. You'll be able to get it at an automotive paint jobber. Tell them what you need to do and they'll fix you right up.

I peel lots of vinyl at my job, and a heat gun will work fine. Yes, it does get hot in a hurry, but if it's hot enough to where you can't touch it, then the stripe will come right off. Just don't hit a spot for more than a few seconds from an inch away or anything like that, and you'll be fine. Like someone else said, if any adhesive is left, use some goo gone, but if you have any, mineral spirits work the best. But with it being a pin stripe, you should just be able to take some alcohol and a rag to it and be done with it.
