quick vid card question!!!!!!

Ok, TOday Im deciding whether to buy one of these three cards....

their alll 64 mb gf4 4200 ti cards.. I just need some quick ref's to why to buy these cards:

ABIT siluro
gainward ultra/650
XFX gf4

LMK plz ASAP

I agree. Gainward's golden sample cards use a faster RAM to give you slightly better speeds and much better overclocking potential.
If you can get it all at the same price, go with the gainward ultra/650 (golden sample).

And btw, just so you know, stock they all run about the same. Maybe a .5-1% difference at most. But OCing is where you will see the difference with faster RAM.

Gainward has 2 models that are golden sample. One with just CRt and one with TV-out.

you need to ask the vendor what model they have. Gainward makes a bunch of different models. I think there are like 4-5 different 64mb 4200ti models from gainward. You need to ask the vendor if you are getting the Golden Sample with TV-out (if you need that).

If you can't get the info then want the TV-out then get the XFS. Its a decent card that is at least as fast as a normal Gainward non-golden sample.

If the guys can't tell you then it's probably not a golden sample anyways as they usually cost a little more. The Ultra/650 name doesn't mean anything. They are all called Powerpack Ultra/650 according to Gainward's site.

Really, the speed difference is not very noticeable between the XFS and the gainward's. It will more affect OC potential.
