Quick Vegas Advice...where to stay on Monday Night?

Yea myself and a few others decided to blast to Vegas for a night from San Diego, and I am not a pro in the area... any advice on what hotel would be a good bet?

I was told Harrah's would be the place to stay. In the middle of the strip.

i like Paris.. rooms arent that expensive on the weekdays and they're pretty nice

Plaza downtown has rooms for less than $30.00 Monday through Thursday.

as was mentioned, paris is cheap on weeknights and nice.

you should check out the luxor, rooms are about 70 or so a night....

but it is at the end of the strip

Venetian or nothing for me now. Giant suite, two beds, two tvs, two hundred dollars. But for affordable, just a room with beds, try some of the smaller names like Circus, Excalibur, other smaller properties.

Try the single deck blackjack at casino royale with $5 min bet. It's located next to the Venetian.

I would advise against staying downtown. Hotels are seedy, and too far from the action. I haven't been to Vegas in a few years, but the cheapest rates that I've found ON THE STRIP are at the Tropicana. Could be as low as $59 on a weeknight, and it's across the street from MGM, Excalibur, and NY NY. Not a bad place to be.

what exactly are you looking in a hotel? any hotel in vegas will have beds in them, do you have a price range, location, etc?
