Quick valentine's day question: I will be seeing the girl I like in school later, give her something small?

I have one of those pretty cool looking LED ball point pen that lights up when you click on it. I was thinking it will make a good small Vday gift for the girl I like?

I mean its just a pen and does not have some deep connotation of love attached to it..
