Quick, turning down an interview

What's the best way to turn down an interview. I already got an nice offer from another company whne this company called for an interview. I'm not sure if I should go and keep the first company hanging... If not, how should I turn down the interview in the best terms? I was thinking of something like, "Thank you for your time, but I already accepted a job offer already...." then I'm stuck..

Actually, just do the interview. It's a good experience, and if you still have the time, you might as well check that company out. You never know what they might have to offer, if they really like you.

yep

Why wouldn't it be? They've already set aside the time for the interview. If they don't give you anything you like, just tell them that you've accepted another offer.

you could always go in wearing dirty jeans, disheveled hair, scratch yourself and completely blow the interview 😀

just be sure to record the interview and post it here

If they really like you they may try to beat the offer you recevied from the first company. You don't have anything to lose. If anything, just do it for the experience.

I was referring to the possiblity of screwing the first company that I already accepted.

Yep.. go. I've been on a number of interviews for places that I wasn't that interested in. Remember, they are selling themselves as much as you sell yourself. 😛

I talked to a HR person that works for the college ring place. He told me his worst interview was went a person actually ordered a pizza and had it delivered to his cube. He was completely suprised and asked the guy to wait until after the interview to eat it. The guy said that he was just hungry. 😛
