Quick Tire Question

Well, my car needs new tires. Some questions:

1. I dont know how long I will be keeping the car, maybe for a year, maybe more. Should I get cheap tires from a place like strauss (~40 a tire) or somewhere like Costco, which has better tires (~70-80/tire), or somewhere else?
2. Two of the tires on the car are different, would that mean that I have to get the same size of the two that are different?

Should always be same size all around.

Only keeping it a year why spend more money than you have to???

You'll get a set of reasonably priced, quality tires.

Falken, I've never heard of them. Are they good? Edit: Are they good for all season weather as well?

Edit2: Does sears pricematch tires? Especially to online stores?

Falken, I've never heard of them. Are they good? Edit: Especially for all season weather?

They make one of the best autocross that are not based on an R Compound and DOT approved for the street.

These aren't it.

What car do you drive? Those Falkens would be fine on almost any application.

Those Falkens are more than good enough. There are better tires out there, but these are pretty good for the money. I would buy them if I was on a budget, but I'm pretty picky about my tires and would get something else.

Not sure about sears. DiscountTire is walk-in shop as well, you can use that as leverage for the price match. If Sears won't price match it, have DiscountTireDirect ship it to you then. Free shipping, and likely, no tax. Just drive over and pay to get em mounted.

What size are your tires btw?

I have Falken Ziex 512s on my car -- they're worlds better than the Bridgestone Weatherforce allseasons I've had on before..and they're about $33/tire cheaper.

I bought mine from www.edgeracing.com for $35/ea..plus s/h (~$30) and mounting/balancing (anywhere from $10-20/tire).

I checked my car, and the tires on there are 185/70R14. None of the websites I checked have that size. Would an 185/65R14 fit?

Ok, the guy at sears said something about the tire size being too small or something, and i would need 205/65R14. He also said that i had to pay $9 per tire for pricematching.
