Quick Temp Question

I have a DFI LANPARTY UT nF4 Ultra-D with an A64 3200+ 90nm Winnie and am using an XP-90 for my proc's cooling and the stock DFI fan for the chipset. My question is, generally speaking, what is the maximum temperature threshold that my proc and chipset should not surpass?

I understand that there are many variables to take into account, but I'm just trying to prepare myself for future overclocking ambitions so I don't accidentally frag components because of OC'ing ignorance. I'm also curious if anyone thinks I should replace the chipset fan with an aftermarket alternative. Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

same with the chipset, its ok up to 60c and then start worrying. and the pwmic is good to 110c and up according to dfi.street.

i wouldn't replace the chipset fan, its not bad, but i did put some as5 on it. now i can keep the rpms down at 2000 and have a load temp of 45/46.

I also AS5'd my chipset during assembly. For the sake of info, if I did opt for an aftermarket chipset fan, what is the choice cooler to be had, keeping in mind that OC'ing is on the horizon?

i oc mine 9x275 with 1.6v on the chipset for those temps btw.

anyway, the vantec iceburg c-a-1c or something like that works. you lose the rpm monitoring but its all copper. newegg among others carry them

I think I'll probably stick with the stock chipset cooling for now at least, but thanks for the info and suggestions.
