Need to put an expected graduation date.

Need to reformat so there isn't such a huge tab from the left edge.

Take out the color and underlining of your e-mail address.

Environment is capitalized?

Put your GPA if it doesn't suck.

Why is part of your Sac St stuff italicized, and GCC isn't?

Your tab distances aren't the same on anything in eduation or work experience. (Now I see how Sac St and GCC start at the same tab, but it looks weird with GCC having way more space after 2003.)

Probably don't need periods at the end of non-sentences.

Overall I see tons of white space. Add some content.

Environment is capitalized? = DONE

Put your GPA if it doesn't suck. = yes it does, its not above 3.5 yet :(

Why is part of your Sac St stuff italicized, and GCC isn't? = Done - italcised the degree and changed it to "associate in arts" instead of AA

Your tab distances aren't the same on anything in eduation or work experience. = Fixing..

The bold/underlined sections are messing it up. Besides that, it looks good to me. I'll call you at 3.00 am every day until your graduation. lol

edit: updated with first set of updates.

I printed it and read it while taking a dump. It works great as TP.
Not much to say but it looks like the same MS Word template I used to get my current job so it can't be all bad. :p

Italicized stuff looks bad with this font. I'd go with a different first name too, Manjul isn't working for me. Use your school email address instead of gmail perhaps? Also the periods after half of the lines which aren't sentences look funny. The format is nice though.

Some of the bolded and underlined stuff in the middle stannds out too much.

where should i not use periods? What font do you suggest using? comic sans? I am changing to the school email.

I have always been told to end lines with periods.. that's why i do so.
I am taking off the bolds for the center portion.. keeping it underlined. the reason for the bolding was because i wanted that to be the center of attention (career center advice) - since that relates to what i hve done.. i am going from computers to environmental studies.. i have no work experience other than in school.

It's just how I see the formatting. When you're writing a sentence or listing something, a period is used to end it. If you are just writing one thing "Associate of Arts, General Education" it seems unnecessary. You didn't put any periods under the employment section, and that looks better to me. Your choice. I'm really picky about stupid little things like that. (the capital B and E look misplaced in this font to me, but the A looks fine) Also I wouldn't put "species" before Abies magnifica because it is technically not necessary, like if that was a paper you were writing you definitely wouldn't put that in the title.

It sucks, utterly.

Forget formatting for a moment, and think about one thing: You list three employers, and list three job titles. WTF were your job responsibilities? What did you do? What tools, systems, protocols, and procedures are you knowledgeable on?

Those are the last things that should be taken out due to space.

You're also taking up too much room displaying your name. Cut out some of the whitespace under it.

Your Senior Project description should be more descriptive. What sort of environmental effects? Global warming? Air pollution? Water pollution? Deforestation? Environmental effects on the moon? Be more specific than just US Space Program too. Effect from space shuttle launches? Rover manufacturing? Surely the scope of your senior project is more narrow than what you've indicated.

Due to space? You have some of the most whitespace I've ever seen on a resume! ;)

What type of job is this for? If it's not a computer related job, your experience isn't really relevant.

type in 'sample resume' on google, and click the first image result that comes up (the one on the left). Make yours in that format

Edit: Link

I'll just link it instead

"To gain experience as a student intern in fields related to the environment."

In the objective I would include more detail like if you want FT or PT work. Also, if you're sending it to a dedicated environmental organization the objective should explicitly say that is what you are seeking. Do research on the places and change your resume to fit them. List your skills unless you don't want to be asked to use them (in favor of new skills).

Aside from your name/contact info, your job experience is THE MOST IMPORTANT INFO ON YOUR RESUME.

If you need some more space, why don't you just take out your Associate of Arts thing? I doubt anyone cares about that since you have a Bachelors.

Yea, but he doesn't need more space. There's so much white space an eskimo might try to build an igloo. ;)
