Ok I generally get the sysprep process but get stuck

1) isntall OS, apps, everything you want on the PC as you want it on the PC
2) run sysprep on that HD

but then what? How do you get that new "prepped" HD image onto the other 10 HDs that I have waiting for their machines?

Take an image using an imaging tool like ghost before you reboot after you run sysprep.

1. setup PC.
2. sysprep, shutdown, do not restart.
3. image HDD outside the OS (some imaging tools will take images from inside windows, don't do this). Generally you boot to a floppy and save the image on another HDD or CD/DVDs.

Using a ghost boot disk after the system is shut down is a great way to accomplish this.
