Quick Super Mario Galaxy Impressions!

I'm sure a few dozen people have already thrown together something longer than this post will be. But! I'm taking 5 mins out (excuse the misspellings and such) to tell you guys how incredible this game is.

It's more fun that you think it is--no matter how excited you are for it. The music is better than you think it will be. It's so grand and enthusiastic, that it could make an emo kid smile and think tomorrow is going to be a better day. The graphics are better than you think. The grass actually looks like grass--not just a smoothing green color fading away--it actually has texture. The stars that you collect (I've only got a few!) are super shiny and make you happy to see them--like an old friend!

This game is, seriously, absolutely stunning. I'm sitting typing this and I CANNOT wait to get back and play it. It's definitely the first platformer to come along and blow away everything that Mario 64 did. Sunshine? Pfffffft.

Anyway....sorry to probably not make any sense--but the first 2 hours of the game are so.....euphoric. 🙂

yah i really had no clue what his response was about.

all it did was tell me 1, he didnt click the link, and 2, he didn't read my impressions of mario galaxy.

Well it could be looked at two different ways:

1. You're wanting to avoid forum clutter with duplicate threads

2. You're biased and would not have mentioned an "official" thread had this thread been about, say, Halo 3

I'm guessing option 1.
