Would be buying at microcenter so the crucial would be cheaper right now, the corsair needs the rebate to even up.

I don't know much about RAM but I skimmed through the anand article. Is it safe to say the 7 CL of the 1066 crucial would be better than the 9CL 1333 corsair? Does it even matter? If anyone has any other suggestions, like I said, I'm buying at microcenter(20% off coupon)

thanks!

oh, and motherboard is this: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...-588-_-Product
with an i5 2400, so 1.5v correct?

I'm slowly being sucked towards an 8gb kit...

if I can use 2 coupons and get 2 rebates, 2 of those will end up being around $55 AR compared to sub $40 for 4gb. I'm dying to make a purchase(at a BM so I can get my i5 running) but I'm sure if I wait a couple days I'll see something nice online? the kit I just linked seems pretty decen though. It just might be a hassle to make 2 purchases and have to fill out different rebate forms with different addresses

can anyone tell me if this patriot ram is decent? coupons expire tomorrow

I'm guessing you're going to be running Win7 64 so you can take advantage of the 8GB kit you linked...?

If so, go for that one, $15 more for double the memory? That's simply a no-brainer!
If not, I'd go for the Corsair kit, 1333 offers a bit more bandwidth than the tighter timing Crucial kit.
