Quick Starcraft question

Me and my brother are trying to join the same game on Battle.net. Whenever one of us tries to join the other's game, it says that the latency is too high, and we cant joing. Now, we have a DSL line, so what on earth could be the issue?

For technical reasons that make sense according to Blizzard, you cannot play two BNet games from the same IP address.

Even if your locally assigned DHCP addresses are different, your router has the same global IP assigned by your ISP, and that's the one BNet sees.

If one of you has access to a VPN, you can use that as your other connection. We have had three on one SC game through the same router using this technique (2 VPN connections). DSL or cable works.
