quick software question

i have a few .tar files that i cannot open in winzip 9 or winace

is there a wintar?

or is there any other program that is best for tars?

Try Winrar. It should handle anything that the other two won't.

.tar is a TAR file. Use Untar to untar the tar file.

yes, i do and have scalded members for less

but note that it is a "quick" question, i wanted a resolution before i went to bed

also note that the software forum is about as active as [ removed ]!
