Quick SLI question

With SLI and using dual monitors do you plug in a monitor on each card or both on the same card or does it matter and why is it done that way?

I know as of now you cant use dual monitors with SLI turned on, but just want to make sure they are connected the correct way.

Thanks,

I would put one monitor in each card, that way the second card is doing somthing and the first doesn't have to power both monitors.

I also do the same thing, I attach each monitor to each card. I don't have my reasons for doing this, but I have had absolutely no issues with running dual monitors like this...

But what Cheesetogo said does make sense...
