Quick shotgun question...

I have a Remington 870 12 gauge and I'm trying to get a tighter spread for more effective distance and I've read you accomplish this through different choke tubes. The manual says it has a cylinder choke in it, so can I go and get a different choke and install it or am I stuck with that one?

Its machined to the barrel - you cant change it unless you have screw in chokes. You should be able to get a new barrel for it with the appropriate chokes.
