Quick shotgun question...

just check the barrel to make sure. I have never shot one that couldnt do both, but its better to be safe than sorry.

I been shooting 2 3/4 in it since I got it yesterday, but occasionally after shooting, it's hard to pump to load another one, like it jams a little and I have to pull hard to get it out. What could be the problem? Needs oiling?

See above, it's a Remington 870 Marine Magnum.

Is it new?

Not to be an ass...but read the manual first? Dunno if there is anything in there that could be causing a problem (some sort of preservative coating, etc).

It could just be the action being worked in. Just sit and cycle it a few hundred times and it should smooth out.

Has to be done a lot on bolt action rifles.
