Quick SCSI question - Hypermicro & LSI card

I'm thinking about ordering a Maxtor 10K III 18.4GB SCSI drive and an adapter this morning but I want to make sure the LSI card will work. On the hypermicro site the only 64bit SCSI cards that say they are 32bit compatible are the Adaptec ones. Is the LSI U160 $115 whitebox kit backwards compatible with 32bit PCI?
[For Intel PC or equivalent]
LSI Logic U160, Ultra160 LVD SCSI-3, Symbios/LSI 53c1010 chipset, 64-bit PCI PnP, busmastering transfer protocol, up to 15 targets, Internal connector: Mini DB68(F) SE/LVD U160, external connector: Mini DB68(F) SE/LVD U160, whitebox kit includes: 5-position Mini DB68(M) PVC insulated twisted to flat ribbon cable, internal LVD Mini DB68(F) terminator, 5-year warranty.

If it is great I'll go ahead and order it this morning... if not I guess I'll be getting a 19160 or Tekram card.

BTW does Hypermicro usually ship the same day? If I order it shipped overnight I'd want it here tomorrow. 😉

I have that same U160 in an Asus P3B-F motherboard that only has 32 bit PCI slots. BTW the Tekram is also a 64/32 bit card. Should work fine. You could also ask Hypermicro 🙂.

Yeah I know... but I was hoping to get an answer before they opened... I think they just opened 3 min ago. 😉
