Quick SATA hard drive(s) power question

2 WD6400AAKS SATA hard drives + Corsair 550VX supply.

The Corsair comes with 2 cords for SATA power, each has 3 SATA power females on the strips.

Is it best practice to connect each hard drive to a separate SATA power strip from the supply? If yes, on the end of the strip (the last connector)?

Or is it best practice to connect both hard drives on a single SATA power strip from the supply? If yes, on the beginning/end SATA females? On the middle/end SATA females? Or on the beginning/middle SATA females?

Or does none of this matter, as long as they are plugged into the power anywhere & in any order, that's all that counts?

Tnx, I'm being anal about this probably...but I figured I'd ask...

You can have as many HDDs on a single cable as there are connectors for the drives. Doesn't matter which connector is going into which drive. Heck if the drive has the stndard molex connector you can use that instead of the SATA power connector.

ok, just wasn't sure if there was a weird 'phase' concept where it's better to have the drives on 2 different cords or something along those lines to prolong their lives, who knows. thnx though.
