Quick resume question : )

I notice people always posting resume threads and I finally have a question of my own.

I have a few scanned .jpg images I'm uploading/sending along with resume. There are three letters of rec, unofficial transcript and certification. These are generally required for each application (teaching).

Is there a certain resolution these should be or will any image viewer automatically resize and then someone can zoom if need be?

Images are pretty much all near 1600x2200, or 1600x2000
