Once It was for me, but it stated that I was using Netscape (I run FF) so I cleared the cache and it was back.

Yes, it was. It was gone in Firefox. Hence, it was gone. No, it wasn't gone for everyone, and not even for that long.
But yes, I agree with the "stop posting" part of your statement.
 
I use Firefox (Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.7.5) Gecko/20041107 Firefox/1.0) and it was never gone for me.
